Workmanship

When people who have spent a lifetime or something close to that avoiding work decide to do some odd job it can really get tough for others. These are people who decided very early on in their lives that the bloody world revolves around them. It's not that they change for they realize that is not the case. It's just that they need things to fill in the spaces between time.

When such people decide to go ahead with seemingly socially useful work, the M.O. can be a real torture. First and foremost they are certain that who ever was doing it up until now had got it all wrong. Hell why else would they be getting in!

Once into it they make a big hue & cry about the 'perfect' way they are doing it. Then once they are midway into it they realize and often bring it to your notice that they are doing 'this' at the cost of 'that'. Mind you which is a small price to pay for saving the world or at least making it a better place!

God save when they start doing things. It's like the last day on earth and hence everything should be done right away. These people have one clear objective- Make life better. Now this could be and very well ends up being at the cost of something or someone else. They will not rest till the job is done or satisfactory results are achieved, which ever comes earlier. It's a pity that a day has only 24 hours and even the Work Nazi can't put in more than 5 or 6 solid hours. These guys usually settle for satisfactory results.

Beware of the Task Stalker...
